Gymnastics parties

1. Select the 'Book your party' button above
2. Scroll to the date you want to book
3. Click on the time you want to book for
4. Choose either the 1:30 duration (Silver Package) or 1:55 duration (Gold Package), then click ‘Next’
5. Add to the cart the size (number of children attending) package you want (if you selected 1:30 only the silver option will pop up, if you selected 1:55 duration only the gold option will show)
6. Enter your email and other details and proceed to checkout

You will then receive an email for you to respond with your party details.

We provide invitations (download them here) but you're welcome to use your own. If you do, please ensure the following information is communicated to your guests:

• Bring a drink bottle
• Wear clothes that allow for easy movement (avoid jeans, dresses, and skirts)
• Wear shoes that can easily be removed as you will be barefoot in the gymnastics hall
• Parent assistance may be needed for children under five years

Families who have booked our Gold Package are welcome to decorate the tables area 15 minutes before the party start time.

We provide tables and chairs, but not food.

Families who have booked the Gold Package must supply their own food, plates, cutlery, tablecloths and serviettes. Families will have access to a fridge and freezer during the party.

Please note that food is not permitted for Silver Package parties.

No food or drink is allowed on the gymnastics floor area. Water in water bottles is permitted. Alcohol is not permitted on-site.

The host family is responsible for removing all decorations, food and debris from the party area. Our coaches will reset the gymnastics equipment, tables and chairs. Any damage to YMCA equipment should be reported to staff immediately.

Parents are allowed to take photos during the event as it is a private occasion. However, please ensure you have permission from other families and staff before taking any photos.

Only party participants are allowed to use the gymnastics equipment. Any additional attendees will be counted as part of the guest numbers.

Please inform your party host of any medical conditions for the safety of your guests and staff.

Our staff are trained in first aid and emergency procedures. In the unlikely event of an emergency, please follow staff instructions.

Confirmation of numbers:

Final confirmation of attendee numbers is required no later than seven days prior to the party.

Supervision for young children:

Children under the age of five years must remain within arm's reach of a parent or guardian at all times during the party.

Responsibility for personal items:

Moonee Valley Gymnastics Centre is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items brought to the party.

Health and safety:

For the safety of all attendees, any child who is feeling unwell is kindly requested to refrain from attending the party.

Silver Package restrictions:

For parties booked under the Silver Package, food is not permitted and parents are required to remain in the parent spectator area.

Fees and charges:

• Full payment must be made online at the time of booking.
• A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is included in the booking fee.
• Additional fees will apply if more children participate in the party than originally confirmed and paid for.
• An additional charge will apply for parties that remain in the building more than 15 minutes past the scheduled end time.

Cancellation policy:

• Parties cancelled via email more than 14 days before the scheduled date will receive a full refund, excluding the $50.00 non-refundable deposit.
• Parties cancelled between 14 and seven days before the party will receive a 50% refund, excluding the $50.00 non-refundable deposit.
• Parties cancelled less than 7 days before the scheduled date will not be eligible for a refund.

Food and beverages:

Hosts are responsible for providing all food and beverages for Gold Package parties. Alcohol is strictly prohibited on-site. Food and drinks are not allowed on the gymnastics floor.

Emergency procedures:

In the unlikely event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of Moonee Valley Gymnastics Centre staff.
